Ayozat Fight Network (AFN) opens Panama base

Ayozat Fight Network (AFN), a leading broadcaster, producer and promoter of premium boxing bouts, has announced the opening of a new base in Panama City, Panama.

The British-headquartered outfit will use their new South American outpost to expand upon their rota of local promoters and boxers in the region.

Speaking at a launch event in London, Mervyn Turner, Ayozat Director of Sports, revealed that the opening is part of an “ongoing” international expansion programme.

“This is a fantastic collaboration and one which gives South American promoters and boxers a platform to rise on a global scale,” he said.

“Boxing comes from impoverished societies in SA, and through this collaboration we aim to generate both much-needed exposure and income that can be reinvested in SA boxing.”

AFN will continue to partner with other leading fight promoters. The company operates under world-leaders including Queensberry (Frank Warren), Matchroom (Eddie Hearn) and Top Rank (USA).

AFN has close relationships with all the major international federations and their mission-statement is to create a brand which is ‘creative in its thinking, speedy and adaptive to market-fluctuations, and has a second-to-none professionalism in its approach’.

Fight content can be viewed via Ayozat’s online platforms, with select bouts broadcasted on Ayozat Sky TV channel 191.

Ayozat boasts a video-on-demand (VOD) platform and live TV network featuring over 150 TV channels.

Ayozat.com is an over-the-top (OTT) platform that is also available on Android, iOS, Google TV and Amazon Fire.
